2012 Beat the Street for Little Feet 

Our annual "Beat the Street for Little Feet" race will be held on Saturday, April 14 at Coan Park. To run this race, please register by April 12th.  If you are interested in sponsoring the event, please contact us at 5k@oakhurstcoop.com.

2012 Enrollment Information 

The application deadline for Fall 2012 has passed.  However, we will consider late applications as space allows in the order applications are received.  Please contact admissions with any questions at: admissions@oakhurstcoop.com. 

OCP Summer Camp 2012

OCP will offer a six-week summer camp in 2012; the weeks of camp will be:

  • June 11-15 
  • June 18-22 
  • July 9-13 
  • July 16-20 
  • July 30-August 3 
  • August 6-10

Shannon Staton

Shannon Staton has been working with children practically her entire life. From baby sitting to volunteer work at preschools as a young person, to teaching 3rd grade at a public school, and as a mother of two, Shannon has observed childhood from a variety of perspectives. Last year Shannon taught our Chickadees (two-year olds). This year she will guide our Larks (four year olds). 

Shannon loves the flexibility and excitement that that comes with teaching preschool age children. Her core teaching goal is to create an environment that allows for learning through play and observation.  By slowing down and observing the changes in the world all around them, four year olds find much to learn and enjoy.

Derek Ivester

Derek Ivester is the Larks Teaching Assistant. More information coming soon...
