Going once... going twice.... get going to OCP's 2008 Arts Auction Jubilee! The silent auction will feature many exceptional items including original art from local artists, unique hand-crafted apparel and gifts, memberships, vacation home rentals, gift certificates and retail items from Intown Atlanta’s favorite stores and restaurants, and much more. The Solarium at Old Scottish Rite was designed in 1918 by renowned architect Neel Reid. The Solarium is an elegant backdrop for any function, large or small. Combining historic charm with the warmth of the surrounding neighborhood, it is truly a unique setting.
Parking
There are plenty of parking spaces around the Solarium including 60 spaces in back of the building and street parking on both sides of the street in front of the building. In addition, there is ample parking around Oakhurst Village.
Food and Beverage
Gourmet panini sandwiches and kid-friendly options provided by Palate Café and Wine Bar are available for purchase (cash only). Beer, wine and juice boxes will also available (cash only and I.D. required).
Payment Options for Auction
OCP will accept cash, personal check, and credit cards for items purchased at the auction. Credit cards will be processed through PayPal. Credit cards accepted include VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
About Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool
Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool (OCP) is a nonprofit, parent-teacher cooperative established in 2005. The school was founded with the goal of creating an ethnically, culturally, and economically diverse community that is united through its commitment to parental involvement in education. Its student body has close ties with many area neighborhoods, such as Candler Park, Lake Claire, Druid Hills, Inman Park, East Lake, Kirkwood, Decatur, Oakhurst, and Winnona Park. The proceeds from this auction will benefit the special projects for Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool, including our tuition assistance program.
Auction Donations
OCP is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. Donations are fully tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law. Download the OCP Auction Donation Form. Donations are needed in house by May 9, 2008 in order to ready them for display.
